Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Lansdowne House Hove is appreciated for its beautifully decorated rooms, such as the Green and Gray rooms, which feature facilities like TVs, coffee machines, kettles, and comfortable beds. The guest house's location is ideal, being on a quiet road near the sea and within walking distance of the main shopping street and various restaurants; plus, it is a short walk to Brighton's attractions. Many guests enjoyed the delicious, high-quality breakfast, with the full English receiving special praise, and some were especially delighted to have it in the garden; a few guests, though, have mentioned that they found the nightly rates a bit high considering some minor issues like a damp patch in one of the rooms.

I stayed in the green room. It was beautifully decorated. the king size bed was comfy with high thread count egyptian cotton sheets. the bathroom included a walk in shower.
The nightly rates are not cheap. I expected more. i was disappointed that there was no choice for fresh fruit with breakfast. there was a large damp patch in the corner of my room.

Really good Stay

The Palm Room was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast offered varied choices and it was served in the garden room. The hotel's location allowed for easy walks by the sea and convenient access to local pubs (a real plus!). I also appreciated the fresh milk provided daily for refreshments.
I noticed a small detail missing, despite the overall high quality. More variety in the bathroom amenities would add a greater touch.

The hotel is ideally situated near various attractions. proximity to the beachfront promenade allows easy access to seaside activities. The nearby cafes and restaurants offer a range of dining experiences.
Rooms

The room featured a well-appointed design, complete with quality linens and pillows. Blackout curtains created an ideal sleep environment, and the inclusion of snacks and a coffee machine further enhanced the comfort. (I found these touches thoughtful.)

The nightly rates seemed steep. the building is excellent from the outside, but i expected more for the price, especially considering i found a noticeable damp patch in the corner of my room. it didn't ruin my stay exactly, but it's not something i wanted to see at that cost. the breakfast lacked fresh fruit options, a minor disappointment.
